Description : Harris SYS-350-AC NetVx video networking system. The NetVX video networking system is a modular video networking device. The modular design supports a wide variety of application-specific configurations. The NetVX SYS-350 is a 1RU chassis containing an internal system controller and slots for up to three user-serviceable application modules.

Standards-Compliant Data Networking Interfaces:

NetVX networking modules support SONET (OC-3), PDH (DS3) and IP data networks. Networking modules support various levels of
forward error correction (FEC) and can be “tuned” to optimally address network-specific conditions.

Extreme Flexibility:
Within the NetVX video networking system, cross connections link signals among encoders, decoders, multiplexers, demultiplexers,
and ATM and IP interfaces. Cross connections are dynamically established through software control. Each cross connection source can
simultaneously service up to eight different destinations within the NetVX™. Any of these cross connections can be added, dropped, or
re-routed in real time on an as-needed basis without affecting any other cross connection.

The ARRIS C3 CMTS is a CableLabs® DOCSIS® 2.0 Qualified CMTS delivering superior performance for up to 3000 registered cable modems while occupying only one rack unit (1RU) of space (1.75 in) in a cable operator’s head-end facility. This small size allows operators successful deployments of next generation IP services in both new and existing cable networks in any size market worldwide.

The C3 is a flexible, powerful, and easy-to-use Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS). It is qualified as fully compliant with the DOCSIS 1.1 standards, which includes specifications for features such as security enhancements, telephony, QoS, and tiered services.

The C3 has dual 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet interfaces and supports a 64 or 256 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) cable TV downstream channel, and up to six variable-rate Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) or 8, 16, 32, or 64 QAM upstream channels. Easy-to-use system management tools include an industry-standard command-line interface.

The TeraScale™ E1200 Terabit Switch/Router from Force10® Networks provides optimal resiliency, scalability, line-rate performance and full L2 switching and L3 routing. Its architecture includes distinct data and control planes. The system control plane is augmented with three processors on each Route Processor Module (RPM). The first processor handles Layer 2 control protocols, the second, Layer 3 and the third, management functions. Its Distributed ASIC-Based Forwarding along with advanced TCAMs on every line card, give predictable line-rate forwarding for every packet regardless of the number, type, or complexity of features enabled across the chassis.
