The 9980 Packet Acoustic Echo Cancellation (PAEC) was designed to address echo cancellation needs in the packet domain. It provides echo control for VoIP directly in the coded domain. The 9980 PAEC application monitors all SIP exchanges to track the RTP sessions, and ’deep processes’ the RTP packets to remove any echo found.
